The original Niche Zero motor spins at 5k rpm where this direct replacement motor has an 8k max rpm rating.
These motors are able to draw more power and provide more torque - potentially causing the diodes on the PCB to burn out. The PCB is very simple and it is simply a matter of replacing the 4x diodes for a larger amperage rated diode.
For 110v grinders, the stock diodes are rated for 2A. It is recommended to upgrade to 5A diodes (6A is ok too)
For 230v grinders, you will need to check what is included but it is recommended to use 2A diodes
