Replacement diffuser block for your Decent espresso machine. Sized for 55mm shower screens and built in spacer height. Goal was to create even flow through an additional array of jets (and arranged more evenly) made possible by using a larger shower screen. The integrated spacer will greatly reduce the soupy muddy coffee sludge and yield dry compact pucks.

Diffuser is machined from 316 Stainless Steel or PPS plastic. Espresso machine companies are replacing metal (especially brass where lead can be problematic) parts with PPS. In the Decent, this change will allow for better temperature control as water temperature readings will be more accurate and higher response from temperature profiling.

PPS diffusers will have an additional seal integrated to interface with the shower screen allowing for pressurized/sealed screen designs.
