The lock set includes everything you need to finally lock your spare tire with a unique patterned key. It reuses the factory latch and cam as shown in the photos. Comes with two keys.

This item does not guarantee theft prevention but it's light years better than the OEM no lock at all setup!

Please view all photos and compare it to the lock on your car before ordering. Only order if the they appear the same. Does not fit 2018 and older G-Wagons. I have not seen the 2025 model locks yet but I suspect it has not changed from the 2019-2024.

Requires circlip pliers for disassembling the existing "lock" to then reassemble it with this keyed lock set. Requires basic mechanical inclination and use of hand tools to assemble.
