This is an adjustable headspace shower screen system for the DE1
The key components in this conversion kit are a new diffuser, billet shower screen and a headspace reducing oring. The diffuser is attached like the original with a central screw but the shower screen attaches to the diffuser separately.
By doing this, you get a full coverage wetted area including the center which was taken up by the attachment screw. The wetted area is also pushed out to 55mm compared to 48mm from the current options. Overall, a 53% increase in useable area!
Taking further advantage of this new layout, the headspace is adjustable through reducer spacers/shims/orings - though this kit will only come with one reducer oring which allows for a headspace reduction of 1.7mm.

This kit allows for a shower screen protrusion range of 8.9mm - 12.5mm
The included reducer oring will take you from 8.9mm to 10.6mm
The DE V1 brass diffuser has a 7mm protrusion
The DE V2 PPS Plastic diffuser has a 8.5mm protrusion
